Service Delivery Consultant / Business Consultant (GAIN)

About the role: 
  • Be a point of contact for client installation of clients GAIN
  • Maintain client's installation and identify projects for improvements of client's installation
  • Investigate and resolve issues that require product domain knowledge according to defined SLA
  • Resolve client service requests (ad-hoc reports, license renewals, file copies...)
  • Take part in validation and testing activities as needed
  • Ensure high quality of all deliverables provided to the client
  • Build and maintain Product knowledge base
  • Maintain client installation information
  • Provide feedback to Product Division and Global Standards on product quality and client needs
  • Support implementing projects to improve existing client installations
  • Where possible identify where clients can use standard configurations versus bespoke solutions and move clients to standard configurations
  • Identify and drive the development of new Service Offerings with a focus on bringing optimal value to our clients
  • Identify where clients can use new license modules & services
  • Become trusted adviser of our clients around the world
Position requirements: 
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Consultant in Service Delivery, Customer Services or Application Support
  • Basic Business Understanding of Financial Data Management – Reference data, Portfolio Pricing, Corporate Actions – Desirable: expertise in any area of these or a the combination would be a distinctive advantage
  • Desirable: A Master of Business Administration, Computer Science, or similar academic background
  • Fluency in English

Technical experience:

  • SQL query building (advanced), script execution (e.g., PowerShell, batch jobs), log analysis, application configuration/integration AND/OR
  • Experience in IT application implementation projects and application integration (API, FTP/sFTP, queues…) AND/OR
  • Testing experience – creating and arranging tests for execution based on business requirements, test execution, evidence collecting, report creation
