Senior Revenue Accountant
Why this role is important to us:
Senior Accountants are finance professionals who ensure that business transactions are captured and booked accordingly. The Senior Accountant has a solid understanding of accounting practices and is responsible for booking according to global policies and local GAAP.
A Senior Accountant will be assigned the more complex portion of the accounting duties. The areas of responsibility can vary from entity to entity depending and the composition of the team. Regardless of the specific duties assigned, the Senior Accountant is responsible for the accurate and timely booking of transactions which are the basis of our internal and external reporting activities. They should possess excellent communication skills and should be able to handle the majority of their workload without a significant amount of direction.
What you will be responsible for:
- Lead the set-up of new customers contracts across the organization
- Support the order-to-cash-process
- Review and help modifying existing customer contracts ensuring correct revenue reporting and other revenue KPIs
- Ensuring accurate finance master data
- Assist with invoicing and cash collection
- Understands the principles in IFRS 15 and can implement them in daily accounting
- Perform other accounting tasks
What we value:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working within an accounting team in a similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting practices (IFRS)
- Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy
- At least be at an intermediate level in Excel (e.g. pivot tables, V-lookups)
- Part CIMA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
- A deep IFRS 15 knowledge is a plus
- Experience working with Workday is a plus
- Good communication skills
