About the role: 
  • Write scripts for video and audio content as needed.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop course content as needed.
  • Analyze, update, and refine existing online content.
  • Stay current on best practices in instructional design.
  • Provide quality control on company projects throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
  • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy and on schedule.
  • Adjusting schedules/timelines and targets on any given project as needed.
Position requirements: 
  • Working knowledge of adult learning methodologies (ADDIE model)
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) preferred.
  • Can use Camtasia and will be able to build videos
  • Adobe Animate (preferred but not a requirement)
  • Must have a Graphic Design background and must be knowledgeable with Adobe Photoshop (or whole Adobe Suite)
  • Proficient in Google Drive and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines. (Multi-task is your middle name)
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working with a small and diverse team
  • Strong ability to delegate tasks among multiple team members

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements:

  • BS, MS, or higher degree in instructional design, education, or related field
  • Experience in instructional design and, or adult learning
  • Experience with Articulate required.
  • Knowledge of Asana Project Management software preferred
  • Knowledge of full Google Suite applications
  • Experience in Manufacturing / Industrial subject matter preferred.
  • Experience in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite) preferred.
