Instructional Designer | Permanent WFH | Project-based Employment
- Write scripts for video and audio content as needed.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop course content as needed.
- Analyze, update, and refine existing online content.
- Stay current on best practices in instructional design.
- Provide quality control on company projects throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
- Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy and on schedule.
- Adjusting schedules/timelines and targets on any given project as needed.
- Working knowledge of adult learning methodologies (ADDIE model)
- Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) preferred.
- Can use Camtasia and will be able to build videos
- Adobe Animate (preferred but not a requirement)
- Must have a Graphic Design background and must be knowledgeable with Adobe Photoshop (or whole Adobe Suite)
- Proficient in Google Drive and Microsoft Office
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines. (Multi-task is your middle name)
- Ability to operate in fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with a small and diverse team
- Strong ability to delegate tasks among multiple team members
Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements:
- BS, MS, or higher degree in instructional design, education, or related field
- Experience in instructional design and, or adult learning
- Experience with Articulate required.
- Knowledge of Asana Project Management software preferred
- Knowledge of full Google Suite applications
- Experience in Manufacturing / Industrial subject matter preferred.
- Experience in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite) preferred.
