Our client is a Tokyo-based executive search firm specializing in the recruitment of bilingual professionals for foreign capital firms in Japan. They have been connecting job seekers with the world’s leading companies since 2002. The recruitment consultants specialize and place professionals into mid-career and senior level management positions across all major industries and job functions.
As an Engagement Specialist your main role will be to contact candidates across a range of market areas and job functions, with the main purpose of setting appointments for the candidates to be interviewed either by phone or F2F by the Tokyo recruiters.
- Understanding job requirements and client company’s products and business areas
- Skillful use of the internal database’s (Bullhorn) job and application logs to prioritize activities
- Contacting candidates via email, Linkedin, and phone to book appointments
- Verifying candidate details when appointment booking is unsuccessful
- Follow up contact and engagement with booked and unbooked candidates
- Excellent level of English reading, writing, and verbal skills
- Ability to “engage” candidates in meaningful conversations and build rapport effectively
- Comfortable with multitasking and switching between projects to meet recruiter’s requirements
- Team player who enjoys communicating with colleagues in Manila and Tokyo
