About the role: 

Location: Primarily supporting Sydney and New South Wales, with potential for regional expansion. 

Job Purpose: This role is integral to our fast-paced environment and involves comprehensive traffic management planning for construction, events, film and TV projects, and other work sectors, ensuring strict compliance with legislation, company procedures, and industry standards. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Craft precision-driven technical documents, including Traffic Guidance Schemes and Road Occupancy License applications, meticulously adhering to regulations. 
  • Collaborate with our Rostering and Resources Coordinator to facilitate Traffic Control shift assignments when needed. 
  • Efficiently manage allocation processes, employing Deputy software, and cross-reference shift records for seamless coordination. 
  • Contribute to the operational efficiency of our dynamic operations department by assisting with various administrative tasks. 
  • Take charge of operational duties, including providing shift details, overseeing working conditions, maintaining meticulous records, and liaising with contractors and suppliers. 
  • Coordinate equipment bookings for diverse job requirements and events. 
  • Undertake data review and input, ensuring accuracy and precision. 
Position requirements: 

Skills & Experience Required: 

  • 1 - 2 years of proven expertise in traffic plan drafting. 
  • Proficiency in Rapid Plan software. 
  • A sound grasp of Work Health and Safety (WHS) planning and practices as applied to traffic control services. 
  • Previous involvement in Traffic Management planning and road closures. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of traffic control devices, pertinent legislation, and infrastructure requisites. 
  • A positive and proactive attitude, driving productivity and innovation. 
  • An agile and open approach to learning and creative problem-solving. 
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving requirements and conditions. 
  • An innate attention to detail, facilitating excellence in your work. 
  • Familiarity with Google Suite or Microsoft Office. 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
